By using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

• Contact information: name, email address, phone number, and service/mailing address.
• Booking details: property type and size, service preferences, special instructions, and access information you choose to share (e.g., gate codes).
• Payment information: when you provide a payment method, it is captured and stored directly by our third-party payment processor, not by us. To enable automatic billing when your service is complete, our processor gives us a secure token or reference to your saved payment method — we never store your full card number on our own servers.
• Communications: messages, emails, texts, or calls you send us, including customer service requests.
• Testimonials and reviews: feedback, star ratings, quotes, and any photos or videos you submit.
• Form submissions: quote requests, booking forms, contact forms, and surveys.

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

• Device and usage data, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring URLs, collected via cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.
• Advertising identifiers collected via tracking pixels (e.g., the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tag) placed on our website and used by our advertising partners.

• Create and maintain records in our customer relationship management (“CRM”) system.

• Send marketing communications — promotions, discounts, and service updates — by email, text, or phone, consistent with your consent and preferences.
• Run and measure advertising campaigns, including retargeting and remarketing on platforms such as Google and Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and build custom or lookalike audiences to reach new customers and grow revenue.
• Analyze trends and customer preferences to improve and grow our business.
• Publish testimonials and reviews, but only with your separate consent (see Section 6).
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security, or technical issues, and comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do share information in the following ways:

• Service providers: our CRM platform, scheduling software, payment processor, email/SMS marketing platform, and cleaning staff or contractors, solely to help us operate the business.
• Advertising partners: we share certain information (such as a hashed email address or device/advertising identifier) with platforms like Google and Meta to deliver and measure ads and to build custom or lookalike audiences. Under California law, this may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, and you have the right to opt out (see Section 7).
• Legal and safety: to comply with the law, respond to legal process, or protect the rights, safety, and property of Hauswork, our customers, or others.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of business assets.
• With your consent: for any other purpose we disclose to you at the time of collection.

4. Cookies and Online Advertising

Our website uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and support advertising. Our advertising partners may use these technologies to show you Hauswork ads on other websites and platforms based on your visit to our site. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and where required by law we will provide a cookie consent tool.

5. Text Message and Email Marketing

If you provide your phone number or email address and opt in, we may send you marketing texts or emails about promotions, appointment reminders, and service updates.

• Text messages: message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Consent to receive marketing texts is never a condition of purchase.
• Email: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you may also contact us directly to opt out.

We do not sell or share your phone number or SMS opt-in status with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes. This is separate from the advertising partners described in Section 3, who receive limited information solely to run and measure Hauswork's own ad campaigns.

We may still send transactional messages related to a service you've booked (such as appointment confirmations) even if you have opted out of marketing messages.

6. Testimonials and Reviews

We may invite you to share a testimonial, review, rating, or other feedback about your experience with Hauswork. We will only publish your testimonial — on our website, social media, or in advertising — together with any name, initials, photo, or location you agree to include, based on your separate, affirmative consent given at the time you submit it. You may request that we remove a previously published testimonial at any time using the contact information in Section 12.
